Don:
A special day. Jim and I met and had lunch with Ron and Debbie Woolever in Florence SC. They were going north on route 95 and we were going south. I had planned to meet them in Fort Myers Fl and fortunately had called them to check if they were going to be there. I found out that they were planning on leaving. They were headed for there new home in Williamsburg VA. We were able to resolve were and when our paths would cross and miraculously we came together. Both of them looked real well. The most striking news was that he had heard from Dana that Sidney, Ed Sherwood's daughter and Skip's sister, was marring a guy from Rochester NY. I had first heard that Sidney was getting married from Skip Sherwood the first person I visited on my trip. I did not know or remember that he was from Rochester. It was to me the unusual case of completing a story through an unexpected source involving an seemingly unrelated location (Rochester) some three thousand or more miles from the original source of the information. A very convoluted series of events.
After such a high point in the day we couldn't expect but a down turn. We progressed to our next camp site the MT. Pleasant/Charleston KOA outside of Charleston SC. Our job than was to do the laundry and clean up the RV. The reason for that was the expectant arrival of Sherry. So we had another special event to end the day.
